An additional two individuals are now in custody related to a robbery at London's Heathrow Airport in which 21 people were injured by what is thought to be pepper spray, according to law enforcement.
A man, 24, was taken into custody in Lambeth on suspicion of theft and assault and a 23-year-old woman was detained on suspicion of conspiracy to commit robbery. Both individuals remain in custody, the force said.
These detentions follow an investigation into an assault at the multi-level parking garage at Heathrow's Terminal 3 on Sunday. Prior to the attack, two women were robbed of their luggage upon exiting a car park lift.
A toddler aged three was one of the injured during the incident. Five people were taken to the hospital for treatment and have since been discharged.
Police arrested a man in his thirties for suspected robbery and assault close to the location. He has since been released under investigation while inquiries continue.
Authorities were alerted at about 08:10 GMT following reports of several people hurt by a noxious substance thought to be an irritant spray.
The assault - which police said was a standalone incident and not being treated as terrorism - resulted in delays to rail services and the partial closure of the main airport tunnel and the T3 parking facility for a short time.
